into your tool.

CloneWild's goal is to help operations protect precious animal genetics through genetic banking and cloning production.

A simple path to progeny.

CloneWild's three-step process for cloning allows you to safeguard and replicate your animals' genetics.
1

Create Cell Lines

The first step in the cloning process, cell line creation involves taking a sample from the animal and forming a copy of the genetic material. Following this, genetic banking permanently stores the cell lines. This protects owners from the loss of an animal's precious genetic code and allows future cloning at any time.
2

Begin Cloning

With the prepared cell lines in hand, CloneWild specialists fuse the genetic material with an empty egg cell. This becomes an early-stage embryo ready for implantation in a surrogate female for gestation.

Welcome New Offspring

Congratulations! Say "hello" to your genetically-identical offspring. The ability to reproduce through cloning allows the succession of the bloodlines of injured, old, or deceased animals, provided that their cell lines are preserved.

The First Step

Cell Line Creation and Genetic Banking

The process of cell line creation and genetic banking begins the process of cloning and makes a particular animal’s genetic material available to clone when the owner is ready to proceed. The preliminary step in cell line creation is to confirm the genetic characteristics of the animal you want to clone. Then, a small biopsy of tissue is taken from a live or very recently deceased animal. The tissue is processed to remove contaminants and a cell line is produced for immediate cloning or genetic banking, which entails storage and freezing. The cell line is held in this state until you are ready to clone.

Genetic banking is available for the genetics of any animal that your ranch may desire to safeguard. CloneWild’s goal is to preserve tissue for all species to ensure genetic innovation for years to come.
How It Works

Cloning Exotics

Cloning produces a genetically identical live animal. The process of cloning begins with using the cell line stored in the genetic bank to obtain the host animal genetics. At the time of cloning, the nucleus of a cell produced from the original tissue is inserted into an egg from a female of the species into which it will be transferred. After an activation process, the cloned embryo results. This embryo represents the exact genetics of the original tissue.

After the embryo reaches a specific stage of development, it is then transferred into a healthy and appropriate recipient (surrogate). Although freezing cloned embryos is an option, results in domestic animal models suggest transferring fresh embryos has a higher success rate as compared to transferring frozen and subsequently thawed embryos.
Our cloned embryos are produced by a micromanipulation system in the hands of experienced animal reproductive technicians.

CloneWild offers two packages for cloning.

The foundation clone series

Our Delivery: 10 Cloned Embryos
The cell lines stored in the genetic bank are activated to create cloned embryos which are delivered directly to the rancher. The rancher will utilize his or her own recipient animals. This series provides 10 viable embryos. A non-refundable deposit is due up front with the second half due upon delivery of the embryos to the ranch for transfer. Additional costs to the rancher include but are not limited to necessary medicines, pregnancy checks, hormone synchronization, embryo transfer, and travel expenses.

The complete clone series

Our Delivery: Live Clone
The Complete Clone Series utilizes CloneWild’s recipient animals. This series includes the Foundation Clone Series in addition to CloneWild’s reproductive physiologist and team conducting the transfer of the cloned embryo into a CloneWild open recipient with continual and careful monitoring by CloneWild. The recipient will be pregnancy checked throughout the animal’s term until a healthy, live birth is united with the primary rancher. The rancher will assume full responsibility for the clone within 24 hours of birth.
